11/23/2012 - Mogadore Lions' Christmas tree sale has begun! Support your local Lion's Club and get your tree right here in Mogadore. The tree lot is located on the north side of Cleveland Avenue across from the old golf course. There is a beautiful selection of FRESH CUT Christmas trees. 11/10/2012 - Are you tired of all those political ads? Well, there are only 5 more days until the election! We encourage all registered voters to get out, exercise your civic duty and cast your ballot. If you have not already done so, you can vote absentee via mail, go to early voting and the board of elections or get out to vote on Tuesday, November 6th...either way, don't let your voice go unheard! 10/31/2012 - Happy Halloween! 08/24/2012 - Football season in Mogadore kicked off to a great start this year! 01/26/2012 - Recently, West Golf Course in Mogadore has
been on the radar of a few big name businesses. Diebold and
Newell Rubbermaid are two of these names. Late 2011, Diebold
announced that they were going to stay in NE Ohio after a tax
incentive agreement was reached involving Governor Kasich's
office. Newell Rubbermaid also announced that it would be
closing its Wooster plant and possibly relocating to Mogadore.
Diebold has announced that it will be building its multi-million
dollar facility in Green. 01/10/2012 - The street projects in Mogadore are underway! If you are a resident in the Virgil, Charles and Eleanor Street area and you have gutter drains that go to the street, be sure that the construction workers do not bury the end of your drain pipe. Buried, they will not drain properly and could cause water to back up and run against your foundation. If you have any issues, contact the Village. 01/01/2012 - Happy New Year! 12/25/2012 - Merry Christmas! 11/26/2011 - Mogadore Lions annual Christmas tree sale has begun! The tree lot is open daily on Rt. 532 across from the golf course. Tree prices range from $25 - $45 and there are scotch pines, white pines and Fraser fir varieties available. 11/11/2011 - Thank a Veteran today for their service and sacrifice. 11/8/2011 - Exercise your freedom today...VOTE! 9/23/2011 - Today is the first day of Fall. What a great time of the year! Let's cheer on our Mogadore Wildcats football team tonight as they take on the Waterloo Vikings at Mogadore Stadium @ 7pm. Check out the scores and stats here... 08/22/2011 - Well, the cool nights are coming and school's about to begin in Mogadore...you know what that means...FOOTBALL!!!! Football at Crestwood THIS Fri, August 26, 7:00pm – 9:30pm at Crestwood High School (map). 08/16/2011 - It appears that Mogadore officials will get an automatic approval by the voters this year. The mayor's seat and 4 council positions are up for election, but only the current office holders filed petitions to run for the next term.
07-04-2011 - On July 2, 1776, Congress approved
the wording for the Declaration of Independence. On July 4,
1776, delegates of the Continental Congress voted to accept it and
on July 8, 1776, the Declaration was read publicly for the first
time outside Independence Hall in Philadelphia, accompanied by the
ringing of the Liberty Bell.
06-24-2011 - CONGRATS - Two former weight loss
surgery patients of Summa Health System are embarking on a
bicycling trip all the way to the East Coast next week.
Tom Bilcze of Mogadore and Chuck Gough of
Cuyahoga Falls will leave from Pittsburgh tomorrow and
cycle across the Great Allegheny Passage and the Chesapeake and
Ohio Canal trails to Washington, D.C. The two friends will travel
more than 325 miles in 9 days carrying all of their supplies on
their bicycles. Tom and Chuck will be maintaining daily blog
