About Mogadore Council
Regular Council meetings are held the first and third
Wednesdays of every month at 7:30pm at the Mogadore Village Hall. Council
Committees meet every fourth Wednesday at "Work Session" at 7:00pm at the
Mogadore Village Hall.
Mogadore Village Council consists of seven members, all of whom serve
at-large terms of four years. The Council is the legislative body of the
Village and is responsible for enacting and revising the ordinances of
the Village, establishing the Village budget for all departments,
overseeing the operations of the Village, authorizing the Mayor
and Clerk-Treasurer to enter into agreements for the Village, creating
boards and commissions within the Village, and confirming the Mayor's
appointments to those boards and commissions.
Council is organized into six committees: Finance, Parks and Recreation,
Planning and Zoning, Public Safety, Streets and Grounds and Utilities.
